ISH 2025 in Frankfurt

Messe Frankfurt opened its doors to exhibitors and visitors at ISH, the world's leading trade fair for water, heating and air, from March 17 to 21, 2025. A total of 163,237 visitors from 154 countries came to the stands of the 2,182 exhibitors for information, inspiration and advice. XFAIR not only provided our customer with the lead app, but also provided on-site support with technical hardware issues as well as remote support with subsequent lead revisions. The My Event app was also used.

The task

The customer was already familiar with the XFAIR Lead app and wanted to use it again for stand employees at the ISH in Frankfurt. Furthermore, a solution for the ordering process for stand catering had to be offered. The customer also needed a stable internet connection and the ability to print name badges for their employees.

The implementation

The lead app was configured with the customer-specific query values. Thanks to a data import in the run-up to the trade fair, the employees were able to log in with their access data and thus book the leads to their person and note down individual comments for further processing. To further support the sales staff, the XFAIR technicians installed the My Event app on the booked hardware. The documents module was activated in this app for ISH 2025, which our customer’s employees could use to access information and illustrative material on their products.

Orders for stand catering could also be processed via the My Event app. For this purpose, the catering module was activated for the XFAIR customer: the order was placed and arrived directly in the kitchen in the form of a printed receipt with all the relevant information.

The two XFAIR apps were installed on the iPads provided on a rental basis. These were distributed to the stand employees on site. Of course, we were on site and were available to answer any questions. Other hardware included equipping a small information desk with a workstation for printing the ordered name badges and WLAN for the stand.

The result

With the help of the XFAIR lead app, the sales staff at our customer’s trade fair stand were able to capture over 900 leads and provide their contacts (and themselves) with over 10000 catering orders. As an additional service, our client received specific reports on the orders and the number of leads every evening. The latter were checked directly by XFAIR at the end of each trade fair day so that errors in the database could be eliminated as quickly as possible.
