AIX 2025 in Hamburg
Between April 8 and 10, 2025, 460 exhibitors and 12,000 visitors gathered at the annual Aircraft Interior Expo (AIX) in Hamburg, the world's leading trade fair for airlines and their associated supply chain. The focus is on aircraft cabin interiors and the associated passenger experience. XFAIR ensured that our customer was fully supported at this parallel event to bauma 2025 in Munich and provided our solution for stand management as well as meeting room management including access control, among other things.The requirements
The customer needed a fully equipped information desk, a stable network and an easy-to-use meeting room management system for its stand at AIX. There were also to be rooms on the stand that could only be used by selected personnel. A solution for access control was requested.
The implementation
First, the employee data was imported into the XFAIR event management software EMS so that the stand personnel could assign meeting rooms on site and bring visitors together with their contacts. Name badges with RFID tags were also printed for the staff at the stand. The exclusively accessible rooms were equipped with RFID readers, which authorized persons could use to scan their name tags and thus open the doors. Naturally, the information desk was equipped by XFAIR – in addition to the workstation there, we also provided several mobile devices with access to EMS. The customer also required a high-quality sound system and various displays in different sizes (with and without touch screens) for the multimedia presentation of their products.

The result
With the help of the on-site support provided by XFAIR, we were able to contribute to the smooth running of our customer’s trade fair appearance. With 30 network lines, the internet connection was always stable. Customer meetings could be held in a relaxed, private environment and an outstanding product presentation was guaranteed by high-quality hardware. An all-round successful project – even at the busiest time of the bauma year.
