
Between 8 and 10 April 2025, 460 exhibitors and 12,000 visitors gathered at the Aircraft Interior Expo (AIX) in Hamburg - the world’s leading trade fair for airlines and their supply chain. The focus is on aircraft cabin interiors and the associated passenger experience. XFAIR ensured that our customer was fully supported at this event, which ran in parallel with bauma 2025 in Munich, and provided, among other things, our solution for stand management as well as meeting room management including access control.

Details about the project implementation
For its stand at AIX, the customer needed a fully equipped information desk, a stable network and an easy-to-use meeting room management solution. In addition, the stand was to include rooms that could only be used by selected staff. For this reason, an access control solution was required.
First, employee data was imported into the XFAIR event management software EMS so that the on-site stand team could assign meeting rooms and connect visitors with their contacts. Name badges with RFID tags were also printed for stand staff. The restricted-access rooms were fitted with RFID readers, allowing authorised individuals to scan their badges and open the doors. Naturally, XFAIR also equipped the information desk - in addition to the main workstation, we provided several mobile devices with access to EMS. For multimedia presentation of its products, the customer also required a high-quality sound system and various displays in different sizes, with and without touch screens.

With the on-site support provided by XFAIR, we helped ensure our customer’s trade fair presence ran smoothly. With 30 network lines, the internet connection remained stable at all times. Customer conversations could take place in a relaxed, private environment, and a high-quality product presentation was ensured through professional hardware. A thoroughly successful project - even during the busiest time of the bauma year.
