LogiMAT 2025 in Stuttgart
LogiMAT, the world's leading trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management, took place at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center from March 11 to 13, 2025. This is where industry professionals meet every year to provide as complete an overview of the market as possible and to focus on expert knowledge transfer. The customer was looking for a solution for efficient hotel management that would support them during the booking process. In addition, employee administration during the trade fair was to be carried out entirely within one system. The requirements here were such that the customer wanted to be able to reach its employees at the stand from the information desk both by telephone and in writing by email or text message, while maintaining an overview of their presence at the stand. Furthermore, the client needed to be able to book and manage meeting rooms. Catering also needed a solution for the ordering process at the stand and for seat allocation.
The topic of hardware was also relevant for LogiMAT: our customer needed equipment for stand tours, the information desks and the necessary network. Furthermore, name badges were to be printed for the employees.

The implementation
Dedicated customer employees were brought into the system via online registration. This allowed them to independently manage the meeting rooms in advance, which was then handled on site by the Infotheque staff. XFAIR supported our client with hotel management by uploading hotel allotments and importing employee data into our Event Management System (EMS). We also enabled information mailings to be sent to employees from the system and staffed a telephone and e-mail hotline for any queries.
Infotheque staff were able to call the contact person they were looking for at the computers installed for them with just one click, send them a text message or e-mail to send them inquiries or other relevant information.
The presence of the stand employees was managed using a check-in terminal with the NFC name badges printed and supplied by XFAIR. At the first check-in, photos were taken at the terminals so that the colleagues at the information desk could match the names to faces in order to recognize customer employees more quickly. This not only made stand management more efficient, but also more personal.
The catering staff were able to take orders via the catering module in the My Event app, which were sent directly to the kitchen via the receipt printer. The XFAIR Seating Planner made it easier for the hostesses to allocate seats in the catering area.

The result
