BrauBeviale 2024 in Nuremberg
Between November 26 and 28, Messe Nürnberg cleared the stage for BrauBeviale. Beverage manufacturers and bottlers of beer, mineral water, soft drinks and juices as well as wine, sparkling wine and spirits were able to present their innovations and developments along the beverage production process chain.The task
The customer not only wanted its information desk staff to be well equipped at BrauBeviale, but also wanted to present its own app and a digital showroom. To do this, they needed the appropriate event technology and, of course, a stable, high-performance network at the stand. Those responsible also wanted to use a mobile catering solution for the catering crew for the first time and manage the meeting room administration centrally at the information desk.
The implementation
On the technical side, this project was a little more complex, as in addition to a total of 49 displays, a sound system for the morning address to the customer also had to be transported to the trade fair and set up. The team also ensured a stable LAN connection across the entire trade fair stand, including the meeting rooms – this stretched across three individual trade fair areas, so the network had to be set up via direct connections. The trade fair stand was also equipped with WLAN for up to 400 devices and an extra guest WLAN with a ticket system.
Both information desks were equipped with a total of eight workstations, i.e. one PC each including mouse and keyboard. The larger of the two help desks also had two name badge printers, which the staff on site could use to provide any replacements for the name badges created for the employees. In addition to the name badges, the ladies and gentlemen at the information desk – supported by our Customer Care team – also took care of the meeting room booking and administration using the XFAIR Event Management Software (EMS). Thanks to our mobile catering solution, the service staff of the catering service provider were able to process their orders quickly and efficiently.

The result
As already mentioned, the XFAIR catering tool was used for the first time for this customer at BrauBeviale. With the help of the mobile application, the catering team was able to bring a total of 5,225 products to the trade fair visitors and stand employees – that was 3,302 drinks, including 1,561 beers, and 1,923 meals. The configuration of the software, the filling of the database and the compilation of the technology portfolio for this trade fair took place within a month’s lead time.
