GET NORD 2024 in Hamburg

Around 39,000 interested visitors and professionals made their way to the far north of Germany for GET NORD. Between November 21 and 23, more than 650 exhibiting companies presented their contributions to the latest industry trends at the trade fair for electrical, sanitary, heating and air conditioning. The international audience and experts were able to exchange information about innovative developments and services as well as expand their networks. XFAIR also had the opportunity to participate in the trade fair.

The task

The customer needed support with lead capture and stand management. In addition, the customer’s requirements included a catering system that was to be provided for each stand employee. In this respect, XFAIR was able to provide a comprehensive service with our software solutions and technical expertise.

The implementation

In order to meet our customer’s requirements, the XFAIR Customer Care team configured the My Event app in the run-up to the trade fair so that employees at the trade fair not only had a direct line to the kitchen or bar via their smartphones, but also had the relevant documents for everyday trade fair work at their fingertips at all times.

In addition, a questionnaire was created for the lead app that met the needs of the sales department when acquiring new contacts. The app was set up by our technical team before the trade fair on iPads provided by XFAIR in compliance with data protection regulations. In addition, a customer-specific app was installed on the mobile devices in order to be able to present it during the meeting. The information desk staff were provided with two workstations including Internet and a telephone system. In addition, name badges were printed in advance for our customer’s employees, with a corresponding printer at the helpdesk providing replacements if the original was lost or forgotten.

The result

The experienced XFAIR team was able to provide the customer at GET NORD with the support that the exhibitor needed to efficiently prepare for and productively use the Hamburg trade fair. The excellent cooperation between the project managers from Technology and Customer Care and our contact persons at the customer contributed to this. This enabled us to set up a smooth-running, self-contained system within the short lead time of two months. An experience that we have already had the pleasure of repeating with this customer and that we look forward to continuing in the future.
