XFAIR’s EMS.Lead now Features QR/Barcode Scanning Functionality to Enhance Usability in USA and Asia

Munich, Germany – XFAIR global is introducing a new barcode and QR code scanning feature to its lead gathering tool, EMS.Lead. The new code scanner will improve usability in the United States, as well as the Asia Pacific region, where exhibit badges with personalized codes are growing in popularity.

The new advancement made to the lead gathering tool provides clients with a simpler method to quickly gather information from a prospective customer. XFAIR recognized the need for this development with its growth in US and Asian markets, as many trade shows and events in these regions provide attendees with personal exhibition badges. Though EMS.Lead can scan these codes on badges, depending on the specific show, XFAIR and its clients have to work along with the party responsible for providing the attendee badges. This cooperation is necessary in order to receive the most accurate information that is held within the codes.

New and existing customers can now take advantage of the new code scanning feature for future projects. Clients will find that the most popular functionality of the app, the business card scanner, is still available for use and there is even the option to implement one or both of these features on the customized lead tool.

XFAIR Global Updates Look and Feel of EMS Registration to Enhance User Experience

Munich, Germany – XFAIR today released an updated design and layout of its online registration portal, EMS Registration, for customers. Featuring a modern, sleek design, the registration portal is not only more eye-catching, but more user-friendly.

With this newly revamped version of XFAIR’s Event Management System (EMS) Registration, users will find a cleaner, crisper layout. The design includes new, easy to read fonts, the ability to upload high quality images and icons, and more elaborate color schemes. These changes allow customers to enhance their corporate branding through the EMS Registration portal. Customers are even able to implement a background image to their customizable page, enabling more opportunity to showcase branding.

In order to better accommodate the needs of global customers, country flag icons appear in the top right corner of each page for users to select their preferred language. This replaces the existing dropdown list of language options, making it easier for users to locate and select a language preference for an overall superior user experience. Other updates to the look of the portal include the addition of a list of upcoming events, which appears at login to the left of the login form, and a new pointer icon that indicates what section of the form a user is working on. The header section of each page has also been updated to include the name of the event registration, as well as event information, such as date, location and the event logo.

While the look and feel of EMS Registration is new and improved, the functionalities of the tool remain. Customers will find that their registration portals still include all required information, in a more attractive format. These updates make the portal more modern and will be sure to satisfy all customer needs.

Shanghai Tech Center Opens using XFAIR’s EMS Solutions

Shanghai, China – XFAIR Ltd., a leading global provider of event management solutions, collaborated with a graphic printing company to open a technical exhibition center displaying new products in Shanghai, China. The center began operation on Friday, September 12 and will remain open through 2017, using XFAIR’s Event Management Software (EMS) and hardware solutions to help manage and organize visitors and workflow.

With the opening of the tech center, the graphic printing company will use XFAIR’s EMS to handle registration of both visitors and employees. Employees can register through XFAIR’s online platform and invite customers to the center for product demonstrations. Once invited to the center, invitees can confirm or decline their attendance and register for specific dates and times through the online XFAIR portal. With the help of these pre-registrations online, the employees at the center can estimate the number of visitors each day and prepare accordingly by printing name badges for visitors and setting up meeting rooms to accommodate them.

To further help organize visitor traffic at the tech center, the company is using EMS to handle all meetings and meeting room bookings. Employees can easily book meeting rooms through the online registration portal, or the EMS admin portal – both software solutions developed by XFAIR. All meeting room accommodations can be updated and rescheduled quickly and simply through EMS.

To easily display meeting agendas, XFAIR has installed an iPad outside of each conference room, showing the schedule of meetings taking place in that specific room throughout the day. This alleviates confusion for employees and the chance of double booking rooms, all while helping the tech center maintain a professionally organized guest experience. Also, the center’s information desk has a large-scale monitor on display that runs XFAIR’s scheduling software, allowing visitors to easily view meeting schedules and find details on the equipment being shown on the floor each day. The monitor is linked to EMS, enabling changes in schedules to appear in real-time.

When visitors arrive to the center, a customized name badge created through EMS awaits them at the main desk. Their badge includes a personal QR code that enables the guest to check into the center, this informs all employees know that their guest has arrived. Upon scanning the badge at the check in terminal, the visitor receives a customized welcome message. These badges are also used to check out when leaving, allowing employees to keep track of the duration of a visitors stay.

Further, these personal QR codes enable employees to better understand their customer’s product interests. Guests simply scan the QR code, using a hand scanner, at individual product stations to communicate that they have an interest in that particular product. All information is stored in EMS for easy retrieval at the end of the day, supporting effortless follow up from employees at the center.

Through another one of XFAIR’s offerings, the Lead Application, guests can easily enter anonymous feedback about their visit. Attendees can use iPads, found mounted to the walls with customized mountings, throughout the center to enter information about their visit and product interests. In order to collect additional comments and opinions, and gather detailed information about guest satisfaction, an online survey is also provided by XFAIR to customers after their visit. This information helps employees at the center make ongoing improvements to the center and guest experience.

XFAIR announces Enhancements on its Lead Generating Application, Now Available for Android Tablets and iPad Mini

Munich, Germany – XFAIR, a leading provider of event management solutions and services, has announced enhancements made to its lead generating application, EMS-Lead, to meet customer needs. The app, originally developed for use on the iPad, is now available on iPad mini and tablets running Android software. Further developments are being made for smartphones running either iOS or Android software.

With the development of the product, customers using Android devices can now take advantage of the app using preferred tablets. The product has also been improved for use on iPad mini. XFAIR is currently working to further develop EMS-Lead for customers who want to run the app on smartphone devices running either Android or iOS software. This enhancement is expected to come to market in July 2014 and will further enable mobility and ease-of-use for customers.

“We realize that the requirements of our customers are various and diverse. We are often asked if the app works on iPad mini and Android devices, so we did development work and we are happy to provide this new solution,” says Roland Fürst, founder of XFAIR. “We are excited to offer our clients these enhanced options for lead management and to see where future developments will take us.”

In an effort to make the process of collecting contact information during events seamless and speedy, XFAIR developed EMS-Lead for use on iPads. The app, which enables customers to collect lead information via the scanning of business cards, or manual entry, was released in 2012.

The app’s usability is effortless. Users simply scan an image of a business card and the information is automatically recognized and transferred into the app’s form, drastically reducing the time it takes to collect leads via classic paper and pen methods. In addition to the app allowing users mobility on the event floor, benefits of EMS-Lead include:

  • The ability to insert images into specific entries;
  • add notes to a lead;
  • automatically save business card images to keep on record;
  • view all visitor reports in one platform;
  • easily edit or add additional information; and
  • view real-time reports for follow-up actions.

XFAIR, Inc. Opens New Chicago Office to Enhance Customer Experience

CHICAGO, Ill. – XFAIR, Inc., a leading provider of event communication management services, opened its first office in the United States, expanding its services across borders and taking the next step in becoming a global company. The new Chicago, Illinois location will allow XFAIR to enhance customer care, while ensuring the availability of quality services throughout North and South America.
